I've written in the past about the suprascapular nerve and how it can get entrapped at the scapular notch. I recently treated someone with a fairly rare case of entrapment of the nerve due to an ossified transverse scapular ligament. This means the ligament has turned to bone. Removing the ossified ligament requires a bit more care than usual. With permission, here is the video of her surgery.
